Finalmente, dopo tanto cercare e sperimentare, sono riuscita a trovare un modo quasi veloce per cucire una borsa reversibile con zip! Era da tanto che volevo usare il pantalone avanzato da questa borsa ma non trovavo un modello che mi convincesse, volevo una borsa chiusa da una zip, ma volevo che fosse anche reversibile.
Finally, after such a long research, I have found a almost quick way to sew a reversible zippered bag! I wanted to use the left overs of this bag for so long but I could not find something good enough, I wanted a zippered bag but a reversible one too.
Un lato è un patchwork di jeans slavato e velluto a coste beige. Sul fronte si trovano le tasche del pantalone di velluto, sul retro sono state applicate le tasche di un jeans troppo usurato per essere usato.
One side is a patchwork of pale blue jeans and beige corduroy. On the front there are the corduroy pants' pockets, on the rear there are two pockets from an old jeans, too worn out to be used.
L'altro lato è più sobrio, il fondo è di cotone pesante mentre il resto della borsa è fatto con una delle mie stoffe preferite, già usata qui e qui. Il fronte ha una lunga tasca, divisa in tre comparti; ho notato che le tasche troppo lunghe tendono ad allargarsi, così ho cucito in due punti per creare tasche più piccole e sicure. Sul retro c'è una piccola tasca con zip.
The other side is more toned down,the bottom is in a heavy cotton while the rest of the bag is made by one of my favourite fabric, I used it here and here. On one side there is a large pocket, separated in three parts; large pockets loose shape a bit and things might slip out so I decided to add two seams to make smaller and safer pockets. On the other side there is a small zippered pocket.
La zip reversibile ha due cursori che la rendono più comoda.
Avevo usato passanti sottili per fissare la cinghia, ho deciso di sostituirli con passanti più larghi: è un po' scomodo passarci il moschettone della tracolla, ma credo che siano più solidi.
The reversible zipper has two pull tabs so it is easier to use.
I had used thin loops for the strap, I decided to replace them with larger loops: it is a bit harder to hook the strap but I think they are stronger.
Le dimensioni sono quelle del secondo bagaglio a mano di Ryanair. Forse è un po' troppo larga, ma in viaggio non si può rinunciare nemmeno ad un centimetro. Assieme a questa borsa forma l'accoppiata perfetta per un'avventura.
It has the dimensions of the second on board luggage of Ryanair. Maybe it is a bit too wide, but you do not leave a centimeter when it comes to packing. Together with this bag, they are the perfect pair for an adventure.
